(17,25) Arriving to the river you head along the small path until you find the tin, leaning over to grab it you almost fall into the water... lucky for you, that dexterity training seems to have paid off! Now to the bat cave!... well ok... there may be bats, you know... like in the cave. Sigh... let's just go hide the tin.
2. (4,12) Find the shovel in the utility cupboard (inside the cave) Rummaging through the utility cupboard the shovel is rather easy to find, not much left in the cupboard, looks like it's already been ransacked.

How to obtain the Witches Hat item/collectible: I found the Witches Hat while searching round the fountain at 10,13 entered by moving south from 10,15. It's a secret entrance to the fountain.This has been confirmed by many. YOU NEED TO FINISH ALL OF LAST YEARS AND THIS YEARS QUESTS TO UNLOCK THE SECRET ENTRANCE.
